The stand dramatically modeled in the form of a sinuous three-clawed dragon grasping a small sphere in its front right claws, gazing up at the much larger 4 1/4 inch diameter loose sphere supported on a upwelling of crashing waves and sea spray, all above serpentine waves, the underside incised with artist's signature.
