Ming-Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)
The plaque is intricately carved and pierced to depict a ferocious dragon striding amidst leafy scrolls bearing flower heads, with a small bird to the right corner. The stone is of an even pale tone, mounted on a silvered metal belt hook.
Length of buckle 2 3/4 in., 7 cm.

Jade overall very good condition; a few scattered small flakes to edges; not removed from metal mount; areas of verdigris to back of mount, loops somewhat bent.
